Celebrity Twitter blaggers: How stars talk and tweet to get that freebie - Daily Mirror

Beyonce

THEY can earn more in a week than most of us manage in a year.

But plenty of celebrities would rather blag a freebie than dip into their own deep pockets.

They know firms will hand over gear for nothing in the hope that the stars will talk and tweet about them to fans.

Corrie star Brooke Vincent was this week ordered to stop using Twitter to plug products such as McDonald's, Domino's Pizza, Nando's and Sienna fake tan.

But when other stars are scooping designer bags, cheap hotel stays and even cars, she's clearly just a beginner in the blagging game...

Rav Wilding - LEASE OF LIFESTYLE

HE is a member of Range Rover's VIP lease scheme which means he gets to drive it for a heavily subsidised fee.

The Crimewatch star excitedly tweeted: "had thick snow and then a puncture on the M25! So lucky to be in my car. It ate the snow and got me back with 3 tyres!"

Fashion designer henry holland also tweeted: "CAN'T WAIT FOR MY NEW RANGE ROVER."

Beyonce - BAG BLAG A HELL OF A CARRY-ON

During a recent glossy magazine interview, the singer lifted the lid on the extraordinary amount of freebies which are delivered to her.

She said: "I probably get about 15 bags sent to me a month. Armani gave me this croc bag, which was huge. I could only imagine how much that thing cost. It would be so expensive that even I wouldn't buy it. There are some bags that are pretty hot. But then I haven't bought myself a Hermes Birkin bag because I think they are just too expensive."

Lily Allen - SHE'LL DRINK, EAT AND PLAY TO THAT

ON Twitter she's seemingly blagged games controllers ("There's a brand-new PlayStation Move waiting for me!") and meals ("I'm going to have a curry for dinner courtesy of the Regency. Best curry in LDn!"). Lily's also promoted her boutique with sis Sarah Owen, Lucy In Disguise, as well as Liz Earle skin products, and thanked vodka brand Grey Goose for the "courtesy bar". And she tweeted a pic of a "Givenchy goodie bag" with the caption: "Ooh, look what just turned up on my doorstep."

Peaches Geldof - POSH ROOMS FOR A QUICK PICTURE

THE socialite was an ambassador for London's Mayfair hotel - which allows her to stay there at a fraction of the price. In return she reportedly agrees to be photographed outside the building and to plugging it in magazine columns.

She was also given free meals in the restaurant and a reduced bar bill. Some reports alleged that she saved a staggering 10,000 over 14 weeks.

The Only Way Is Essex - IT WILL PAY IF YOU SPRAY

CAST members of The Only Way Is Essex have blagged tens of thousands of pounds worth of freebies - with firms hoping they will feature in the show. Spray tan Fake Bake, as plugged by Sam Faiers, left, Kate Kuba and Forever Unique have all got on board over the past few months. Lauren Goodger even blagged a Kia car.

Lindsay Lohan - GIFTS ARE OH SO SUITE

THE US actress is a huge fan of the various "gifting suites" which are set up to accompany a big showbiz event such as the Oscars.

Stars go around a room full of products and load them into their bags - a bit like an upmarket Supermarket Sweep.

But Lohan apparently loves them a little too much. According to one US report, her appetite for freebies left organisers open-mouthed at Lucky Club's Gifting and hospitality suite in New York's Ritz Carlton hotel.

Vendors from fashion labels L.A.M.B. and Milk as well as jewellers Lia Sophia "had to make many quick runs back to their stockroom to make sure Lohan had enough (products)", according to a source.

Her first post-rehab photo this year also saw her carrying a Rockstar energy drink which insiders have speculated she was paid to promote.

I'm going to have curry for dinner courtesy of the Regency. Best curry in LDN LILY ALLEN
