Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) Following his split with Kat Von D, Jesse James, 42, received some good news when he was awarded sole custody of his daughter Sunny.

The decision came after a long bitter custody battle with Sunnys mother, Janine Lindemulder.

Jesse feels vindicated, Jamess attorney John Schilling told People about the news.

This is what hes been claiming all along, that Janine needs therapy, he added.

The ruling states that if Lindemulder chooses to relocate to Texas to be near her daughter, shell be ordered to inpatient rehab.

If Lindemulder chooses to remain in California, she will only get monitored visitation of her daughter.
