Reality show gig in Casey Anthonys future? - Hamilton Spectator

LOS ANGELES Casey Anthonys acquittal in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter and her scheduled release from prison next week have fueled speculation about what she will do once she is free.

Rumors flew early Thursday that Anthony had been signed by William Morriswhich the high-powered agency denied. Sharon Osbourne blasted a tweet: Casey Anthony not guilty??...its a disgrace. Shell probably get her own reality show now.

If Anthony does make the leap into the TV arena, she would be the latest in a stream of notorious newsmakers who wind up on TV.

Included in the list are:

1. Amy Fisher, the 17-year-old who in 1992 was dubbed the Long Island Lolita after she shot and severely wounded Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of her former lover Joey Buttafuoco, is a patient on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

2. Richard Hatch, the first winner of Survivor who is now in prison for violating the terms of his earlier release from prison for failing to file federal income tax returns, was on the most recent edition of The Celebrity Apprentice.

3. Rod Blagojevich, the former governor of Illinois who was recently convicted on a variety of corruption charges, including trying to sell President Obamas Senate seat, was on the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice.

4. Tonya Harding, the American figure skating champion who became infamous in association with the 1994 attack on her Olympic rival Nancy Kerrigan, was a contestant of Foxs Celebrity Boxing in 2002.

5. Michael Lohan, the father of tabloid darling Lindsay Lohan and who has had numerous run-ins with the law, including charges of drunk driving, is a patient on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.
