The X Factor USA Judges Houses Episode Recap 10/13/11

On tonights episode of The X Factor USA, the judges take their groups to their homes, after having split them up into four groups: Girls, Boys, Over 30s and Groups. In case youve missed the group splitting, meet the top 32 X Factor contestants here.

The girls are jetting off to France to meet their mentor, Simon Cowell. Theyre all happy to see Simon waiting for them. Rachel Crow is so cute! The groups are in Santa Barbara to meet their judge, Paula Abdul. In Malibu, the Over 30s group is meeting their judge mentor, Nicole Scherzinger. The boys are off to the Hamptons, New York, to meet their judge, L.A. Reid.

Nicole brought along Enrique Iglesias to help her with mentoring the over 30s. Paula Abdul introduced her helper, Pharrell, much to the happiness of the groups. Simons special guest was supposed to be Mariah Carey, but due to Hurricane Irene, she was unable to make it. He has chosen to judge them alone. L.A. Reid introduced Rihanna to the boys and theyre super excited!

Each of the judges have selected the songs that the contestants are going to sing. Up first is Brian Bradley, rapping like mad to The Message. Rihanna said hes so cute and a mini J-Cool. He did a great job!

Singing first for Simon is Simone Battle, singing Help! by The Beatles. It was alrightso soSimon said, Well done , but she told Steve Jones that her voice cracked. Simon said shes fantastic and the crack just added emotion.
